In 1935 the Lhasa Apso was recognized by the AKC and it wasn't until 1969 that the Shih Tzu was recognized, originating from a mix of the Lhasa Apso and Pekingese breeds. Our sterling silver dog looks its royal Tibetan part casually dangling a paw and looking up with affection. So shih Tzu or Lhasa apso...you choose. Painted white with gray highlights.
